Find audio-described content in the iTunes Store


On your Mac or PC

  1. Open iTunes.

  2. Click iTunes Store.

  3. In the search bar in the upper-right corner, type a specific title or keyword. You can also type "AD," "audio description," "audio descriptions," "video description," or "video descriptions" to browse all available titles with audio descriptions.

  4. In the column on the right-hand side of the window, click Movies.

  5. When you find something that you'd like to watch, click it. Look for an audio descriptions icon on the item's product page, under the price buttons.


Scroll to the bottom of an item's product page and look in the Languages section for information about available audio description languages.


On your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

  1. Open the iTunes Store app.

  2. From the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, tap Search.

  3. In the search bar at the top of the screen, type a specific movie title or keyword. You can also type "AD," "audio description," "audio descriptions," "video description," or "video descriptions" to browse all available titles with audio descriptions.

  4. When you find something that you'd like to watch, tap it. Look for an audio descriptions icon on the item's product page, under the item's image.

On your Apple TV

  1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.

  2. Turn on Audio Descriptions.

  3. Open the iTunes Movies app.

  4. Browse to or search for a movie.

  5. On the movie's description page, an audio descriptions icon appears if audio descriptions are supported.


Swipe down on your remote to move to the bottom of an item's product page. Look in the Languages and Accessibility sections for information about available audio description languages.
